Fitness/Classroom Addition and Woodshop/Cad Lab Relocation at Ramsey High School

New work generally consists of the construction of an 11,200+/-sf 2nd floor classroom and fitness center addition to the High School. The building structure is concrete footings with a steel structure and a combination of masonry and steel stud cavity walls with both masonry veneer and GFRC rain screens. The roof structure is steel open web joist supported by steel beams with an insulated PVC roof. All major services will be provided to the building...sewer, electric, water, gas from the existing building. The building construction will span 12 months from May 2020 to May 2021. Sitework is minor including only storm piping and repairs to the existing asphalt paving. The mechanical design includes three rooftops units and related ductwork. Finishes include standard 2x2 ceilings, exposed decking, and wood ceilings as well as VCT and rubber flooring, parts over a raised floor access system
