Air Traffic Control Tower

Construct a new FY 18 MCAF, PN KELL123018, Air Traffic Control Tower, Lackland AFB, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Texas. The control tower includes air traffic control radio and landline consoles, precision approach status indicators, and work space for air traffic controllers and staff members. Construction includes reinforced concrete pile foundation and slab floor, masonry walls and standing seam metal roof. This project includes an elevator, a catwalk surrounding the tower cab as well as utilities, site improvements, pavements, special foundations, a backup power generator and all other work necessary to provide a complete and usable facility. Associated demolition includes two facilities, the existing ATCT Building 1160, and Admin Building 1161. Other supporting work including but not limited to: water, sewer, gas, electrical, communications, site drainage and final grading must be provided to support the Air Traffic Control Tower complex.
