New Roofing Systems at the Garden City Municipal Yard Central Garage and Parks Garage

Remove and replace existing roof systems with new roof systems per bid specification. Contract term: 1 year SCOPE OF WORK Garden City Central Garage- 2 Cherry Valley Ave, Garden City, NY 11530 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision and whatever else is necessary, whether described or not, to remove and replace the "wet areas" or damaged areas on and replace these areas with new roofing as specifications here-in. A new roof weather resistant roof coating system will then be installed as specified herein. Some existing roofing components and/or materials contain asbestos and abatement and disposal shall be in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The new roof coating system shall be installed in a manner acceptable by the roofing manufacturer for a 20 year warranty. Garden City Parks Garage- 2 Cherry Valley Ave, Garden City, NY 11530 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision and whatever else is necessary, whether described or not, to remove the existing roof system(s) down to the roof deck(s) and install a new APP Modified roofing system as per specifications here in. The roof flashing and/or roof components for the roofs contains asbestos and removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials shall be in conformance with all federal,state, and local codes and regulations. In addition to the roofing system, the contractor shall also install .050 aluminum copings over existing precast coping stones. The roofs shall be installed in a manner acceptable by the roofing manufacturer for a 20 year warranty.
