Parcel 48.82-9-24.100. Parcel is located between Sherman and Grant Streets. Access from Sylvester Street, Kingston. Contact Information Brian Woltman 845-334-3943 bwoltman@kingston-ny.us The successful bidder shall be required to commence work no earlier than Monday, August 14, 2023, and complete work no later than December 31, 2023 The City is seeking a qualified contractor to complete pavilion repair and roof replacement at the Hutton Park pavilion located at 2-50 Sherman Street, Kingston. Parcel 48.82-9-24.100. Parcel is located between Sherman and Grant Streets. Access from Sylvester Street, Kingston. o Due to the pavilion hosting summer camp, work shall commence no earlier than Monday, August 14, 2023, and shall be completed no later than December 31, 2023. o Remove existing pavilion roof down to underlayment o Approximately 1950 Square feet, 63'L x 23'W, with a 41' ridge and 17' hip rafters to each corner o Replace rotten or damaged underlayment (cost out separately per sheet) o Replace with GAF Timberline HD architectural shingles; Color: Hickory o Remove and replace drip edge, approximately 172 LF o Install new fascia, approximately 172 LF o Sister each existing rafter tail, 78 total o Header repairs: approximately 30.5 LF total o True Dimension 5 % " x 7 %" o South end- approximately 20.5 LF. See Images 1, 2, 3 o South most bay on West side- approximately 10.0 LF. See Images 4, 5 o Post repairs: 6"x 6"x 80" each, pressure treated o 8 of 16 posts in poor condition. See Images 6, 7, 8, 9,10,11,12, 13, 14, 15,16, 17 o King Posts/Center Gable Studs. See images 18,19 o 5 king post locations at each rafter tie o All king posts are singles with no jack posts, some are notched around BX cable. o Remove notched king posts and move cable, reinstalling un-notched king post. o Sister two 2 x 4" x 5' jacks at each king post. o One rafter tie currently has no king post. o Total material - 2 x 4" x 65' o Flash roof penetration for electrical service. See images 22, 24 o Remove roof penetrations. See images 20, 21, 23 o Remove pavilion sign, to be saved; City will replace sign o City will paint new lumber |
