Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant I81 SB Stop

District Five to establish a contract for regular maintenance of the sewage treatment plant at the I-81 SB Rest Stop. Stick the Septic Tanks once every two weeks and record readings. Clean filters once every quarter and record date. Maintain Sand Bed Filters. Remove all vegetation. Maintain Sand Beds to prevent ponding. Any Black Beauty sand removed is to be taken to landfill by contractor. Area inside fence is to be kept free of weeds and grass. A maintenance log is to be kept by contractor and provided to the WVDOH quarterly. UV Light Maintenance required. Tubes are to be cleaned monthly. Bulbs are to be changed annually and will be provided by the WVDOH. UV Contact Chamber is to be cleaned. Check AMP Readings every month. Notify WVDOH when pumps need replaced. WVDOH will replace them. Maintenance of Spray Bars Remove Nozzles on Spray Bars in the sand beds every November. Place provided bricks under piping. Nozzles are to be put back on in April.
