| Description | Provide labor and material to remove and reconfigure piping to allow for removal of existing non-working water softeners. Holes may need to be drilled in each softener tank to allow for the removal of the water softener media and the tanks may need to be cut apart. All equipment will be removed from vault and disposed of offsite. A water shut down will need to be scheduled. All bids must be submitted and returned in a sealed envelope marked with the project title Water Softener Removal. The most current general prevailing wage rates for Rock Island County shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract. The Village Board reserves the right to reject any bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities. |
