McKinley County Courthouse Addition

Work consists of a new three level facility to be located on the south side of the existing McKinley County Courthouse site. Site work is to include utilities, including connection to public utilities in street, paving and site drainage. The first level will be open, and secure, parking for county and judicial employees. The second level will be training rooms and the third level will be offices. An elevator is required as will exit/ entry stairs. Structural consists of steel frame with concrete foundation. Exterior building systems include metal framed walls with stucco or metal panel finishes and concrete masonry units. Glazing shall be either aluminum storefront or glazed curtain wall systems. Roofing shall be TPO membrane roof. Interior includes metal framed walls with gypsum board, cement board and/or tile finishes. Interior finishes shall include lay-in acoustical ceilings, tile, and carpet. Mechanical system shall be packaged units with roof-top mounted chiller. Electrical and special systems will be included in the scope of work. The addition is directly connected to the existing McKinley County Courthouse and there will be requirements for minor demolition of the existing facility and site. Primary electrical systems will need to be routed from the existing courthouse facility to the new addition. Primary special systems will need to be routed from the existing historical courthouse building to the new addition.
