| Description | The exterior carpeting at facility 713 has reached the end of its useful life. The contractor will replace existing broadloom exterior carpet and existing traction strips on all outdoor portions of the facilities. This work is to include exterior carpeting on all outdoor porches, stairways and walkways of the first and second floor. Additional details are described below: a. Remove existing broadloom exterior carpet, traction strips and transition strips. b. Prepare surfaces for installation of new materials. c. Install new broadloom exterior carpet. d. Install new traction strips at nosing of exterior stairs. e. Install new transition strips as needed between flooring materials where change in level will exceed 1/4" |
