2023 Hot Asphalt Resurfacing Project. The proposals must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents and shall contain the full name and address of the bidder. Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid or a certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. In addition to the Bid Security, a one (1) year Performance Bond is required for this project in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total project cost, and may be submitted with the Bid Proposal. The Owner requires that all work associated with the project be completed before September 30, 2023. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of (60) days after the opening thereof. Awarding of the contract shall be to the Lowest or Best bidder as determined by the Pleasant Township Trustees in the best interest of the Township. The Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids for any reason.
