| Description | Perform pavement sampling, materials identification and soil testing services including, but not limited to: sampling of various types of pavement such as concrete with or without steel rebar, cement stabilized base, flexible base, hot mix asphaltic concrete, etc. in TxDOT’s Paris District. Specific locations will be identified on the IFB. Sampling of pavements will utilize Continuous Sampling Method per ASTM D1587 with 2 inch to 4 inch diameter Shelby Push Tubes extruded in the field unless otherwise directed. Four inch diameter tubes will typically be used. Depth of sampling will be 10 inches into sub grade or a total depth maximum depth of 48 inches. |
