Description | **As of August 22,2022, project was awarded to Miles Resources, LLC, awarded amount is $502,000.25.** The City of Shelton is releasing a Public Works Project for improvements to the existing parking lot on W Cota Street, including re-paving, striping, drainage, landscaping, and sport courts. Scope of Work: The project will include (but not be limited to) the following major items of work: This project includes improvements to the existing parking lot on W Cota Street, including re-paving, striping, drainage, landscaping, and sport courts. The Contractor will have 30 working days, if awarded, to complete the work in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This project is funded in part by The Taxpayers of Washington State. The Engineers estimated range for this project is between $410,000.00 and $500,000.00 All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a proposal guarantee (certified or cashiers check or approved bond) payable to the City of Shelton in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal price. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Shelton. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid proposal deposit The City of Shelton reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding, accept a Proposal of the lowest responsible bidder, reject any or all bids, republish the Invitation to Bid, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of the City is served Written questions regarding the project may be directed to the Project Inspector, Amie Anderson, at amie.anderson@sheltonwa.gov. In your email subject line, reference the project title. All questions must be in the body of the email rather than in an attachment. No response will be made to questions unless they are submitted in writing to the person noted above and received by 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 one-week prior to bid opening. The City will not be responsible for unsuccessful submittals of questions Discrimination is prohibited. The City of Shelton reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
