Mahoning River Canoe/Kayak Livery

Construction of a canoe launch on the north bank of the Mahoning River in the Village of Lowellville West Water St extension. The project includes the following construction work but is not limited to: Site preparation and layout of the specified construction elements, construction of a concrete canoe ramp/launch, construction of concrete steps connected to the launch, foundation preparation and construction, installation of steel reinforcement, and underpinning to fasten the step foundations to the existing river bank. The proposed project shall conform to the shape of the existing river bank and not protrude vertically from the existing river bank so as to negatively limit the existing river floodplain. Contractor is responsible for all permitting requirements if his construction activities are to change the existing bank conditions or encroach into the river.
