Description

Engineer's Estimate: $300,000 to $350,000 Project consists of installing sidewalk to connect existing sidewalks along W. Canal Dr. from US-395 Interstate overpass to N. Carmichael Dr. Pedestrian ramps will be updated or installed within the project limits to meet ADA compliance. Street lights will be updated with new LED luminaires. There are two (2) alternate options from station 32+00 to 44+00 along Hatfield Park: Option 1 will be to install new sidewalk, curb & gutter, catch basin, and widen the existing roadway, Option 2 will be to install a 10' concrete sidewalk adjacent to the right-of -way. Funding source is Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Kennewick.
