Water Meter Replacement

The Project consists of the replacement of the Town of Bowling Green’s existing water meters identified in the plans and specifications and the installation and implementation of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure system (AMI). The work shall all materials, labor and equipment necessary to provide the following: 1. Furnish and install all materials, water meter equipment, software, labor, and construction as necessary to furnish, install, and place in operation a complete AMI Metering System. 2. Furnish and install new complete meter assemblies including, excavation, isolation of existing water service, cutting pipe, new meter barrel, lid, meter setting, and all necessary materials required to connect to the existing water service. 3. Removal and disposal of the old existing water meter assemblies and barrel, including excavation and pipe cutting and restoration.
