Description

The 145th Airlift Wing intends to issue a solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract to replace HVAC equipment/systems at the North Carolina Air National Guard base in Charlotte, NC subject to the availability of funds. This project includes but is not limited to the replacement of all existing HVAC equipment dependent upon R-22 Freon base wide. The Air National Guard is required to comply or exceed all environmental mandates associated with the phase out of Hydro-chlorofluorocarbon (HCFC). Replacement systems shall meet or exceed UFC 1-200-02 HIGH PERFORMANCE AND SUSTAINABLE BUILDING REQUIREMENTS date December 2016. Equipment to be replaced includes chillers, split, and package systems. A fully operational smart meter monitoring system is required by 2020 to meet DoD guidance. The existing smart meters and reporting system will be expanded to include eleven (11) electrical and natural gas smart meters for the designated buildings at Charlotte ANGB.
