Walker Road Canal Crossing Project

As of March 1, 2023, the project has been awarded. Construction has not started and an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed, however construction is expected to start in March 2023. Walker Road Canal Crossing Project Q & A deadline: Nov 04, 2022 11:00:00 AM EDT Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for the construction of: 1. A new site access roadway and canal crossing. The access roadway will be concrete pavement and the canal crossing will consist of a 72” double barrel RCP culvert. 2. Upon completion and acceptance of the new canal entrance roadway and canal crossing, the Contractor shall demolish and dispose of the existing wooden bridge canal crossing, including foundation. Any part or item of the Work which is reasonably implied or normally required to make each installation satisfactorily and completely operable shall be performed by the Contractor and the expense thereof shall be included in the lump sum prices bid for as set forth in the Proposal. It is the intent of the Contract Documents to provide the Owner with complete operable systems, subsystems, and other items of Work. All miscellaneous appurtenances and other items or Work that are incidental to meeting the intent of these Contract Documents shall be considered as having been included in the applicable unit prices or lump sum prices bid for the various items of Work even though these appurtenances and items may not be specifically called for in the Specifications or shown on the Drawings. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
