Description | **As of November 21, 2022, project was awarded to Top Line Construction Corp, awarded amount is $1,074,386.01** The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the specifications. The work generally consists of milling, resurfacing with base course repair, concrete curbing, driveway apron repair, miscellaneous sidewalk repair, stormwater system repairs, ADA compliant handicap ramps and traffic signal upgrades. Plans, Specifications, and forms of bid for the proposed work, prepared by Pennoni Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, are on file in the City of Plainfield Purchasing Division, 515 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, N.J. 07060 and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours beginning September 28, 2022. Proposals must be made on the Standard Proposal Forms in a manner designated in the contract documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the work on the outside, addressed to Cynthia Blake, Purchasing Agent City of Plainfield Division of Purchasing, 515 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, N.J. 07060 and must be accompanied by all items identified in the Contract Documents including, but not limited to, a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and a bid guarantee (Proposal Security) for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid except that the guarantee need not exceed $20,000.00. Prospective bidders are hereby notified that an original and one CD or three (3) copies with signatures of the entire bid package must be submitted to the City. The City of Plainfield reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the City of Plainfield.
