Operable Panel Wall Replacement - Augusta County Government Center

a. Remove the existing manually operated panel wall system including tracks and all panel system mechanisms. b. Drywall and other wall and ceiling finishes may need to be removed in order to remove the existing panel wall system and install a new system. c. All drywall and ceiling finishes removed or damaged during installation of the new panel wall system is to be replaced in-kind to pre-existing conditions. d. All drywall is to be painted with appropriate primer and finished coat to match the existing color and type. e. The new panel system is to be attached to the existing header. The bid must include all work required to attach and support the new panel wall system. f. Install a new, paired operable panel wall system by Hufcor, model #642 with sound transmission class (STC) 47. The finished covering on the panels shall be Hufcor, HytexRib Dimensional Acoustic Fabric. The color will be chosen by the County. g. A pocket door shall be included and installed at the western end of the panel wall system. This replaces the existing pocket door. The pocket door shall be part of the wall system (#642, STC 47) with the same fabric finish.
