West Harbor Boat Launch Improvements

As of August 26, 2022, project has been awarded to Focht Construction and will be starting immediately. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than May 26, 2023. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1) A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond or 2) a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of Catawba Island Township Trustees, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. The bid guaranty must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code and the Instructions to Bidders. All work shall be carried out in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations that apply to the work. Any project specification item in conflict with a federal, state, or local law, rule or regulation, shall be void. This project falls under the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage requirements. The Catawba Island Township Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities in a bid, or to accept that bid which in the judgment of proper officials is to the best interest of the Township. In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 307.87 this shall serve as notification that this notice is available on The Catawba Island Township webpage. Projects is for design and build improvements to the existing boat launch facilities including an ADA accessible restroom and dock along with site and lighting improvements *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
