| Description | The following project includes two areas of improvements; the Wooton Wonderland Playground and the Wooton Splashpad. See plans for the project location and area. The Wooton Wonderland Playground portion of the project proposes complete replacement of the City’s existing playground located in the northeastern corner of Wooton Park in downtown Tavares. The existing playground includes wooden playground equipment, mulch play surfacing, wooden perimeter fencing, and associated lighting, site furnishings, and landscaping. Redevelopment of the playground includes removal of the existing playground and construction of a new playground themed to honor the character of the existing playground and the City’s nearby seaplane base on Lake Dora. Proposed playground improvements include new play equipment, play surfacing, and perimeter sidewalk. |
