| Description | Governors Island Corporation d/b/a The Trust for Governors Island ("the Trust") invites Arbor Care Contractors (each, a "Proposer") to submit proposals to provide high quality, cost-effective, and reliable arbor care services for the 776 mature canopy trees with Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) greater than 12" on Governors Island. The Trust seeks to enter a contract for a 3-year period with two one-year options to renew. Work is expected to begin in February 2023. Locally Based Enterprises ("LBE's") and Women- and Minority-owned Businesses ("MWBE's") are encouraged to respond to this RFP. Any Proposer must identify in its proposal whether it or, if applicable, any of its proposed sub-consultants are LBE's or MWBE's. Respondents are also encouraged, if applicable, to include LBE's and MWBE's as sub-consultants. Any questions regarding this RFP must be emailed and received by The Trust no later than 3PM December 2, 2022 All questions must be directed to gibids@govisland.org with the RFP title in the subject line. |
