Description | The Project consists of demolishing the existing Quail Creek can style lift station and replacing it with an 8-foot diameter wet well and 6-foot diameter valve vault submersible type lift station. The existing electrical system will be modified to accommodate the installation of the new lift station. Lastly, existing yard piping will be removed and replaced to tie the new lift station into the existing sewer collection system and discharge force main. The project areas identified as part of this Project will be located within a combination of the City of Columbus Right-of-Way, Columbus Water Works Permanent and Temporary Construction Easements, and Georgia Power Right-of-Way. This Project will be funded through the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF).
