Description | This project is to supply and install (2) Split Systems at a residential property. Please see attached RFQ letter and Scope of work (in the documents tab) for general requirements. Location-25-10 84th Street Jackson Heights, NY 11372 Supply and Install 12,000 BTU Split System Living and Dining Area and 9000 BTU in Bedrooms When signing in, be sure to check the project name listed on the sign in sheet to ensure you are recording your attendance correctly. Failure to do so will cause you to be ineligible to submit a quote. There are no exceptions. Please write clearly for corresponding purposes and make sure you include an email address and phone number where you can be reached. Due to Covid-19, you must wear a face mask and you may be screened prior to entering the site. Late arrivers at the site visit will not be allowed to sign in, participate, nor submit a quote for this project. If you are unable to attend, you will not be allowed to schedule a site visit at a later time. This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Bernard Fineson DDSOO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and is subject to vendor responsibility determination. Bernard Fineson DDSOO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to or not to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and Signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The Bernard Fineson DDSOO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. The Bernard Fineson DDSOO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding. Please note all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitors log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the maintenance department Brooklyn DDSOO reserves the right to reject any quote which does not reflect the correct prevailing wages in accordance with the provided wage schedule. Tabulation of quotes will be posted to the listing on NYS Contract Reporter along with the award. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Supply and install Mitsubishi hyper heat or equivalent 12,000 BTU ductless split system with 2 heads for living room and dining room area. 2. Supply and install wireless thermostat Mkh2 or equivalent. 3. Condenser to be mounted with wall bracket 10" off the ground for proper operation. 4. Supply and install 9000 BTU wall mounted Mitsubishi hyper heat or equivalent ductless split system with 3 heads for the upstairs bedrooms. 5. Supply and install wireless Mkh2 thermostats to control the 3 upstairs bedrooms. 6. All Line set must be properly covered. 7. AC system to include Installation of all copper refrigerant piping. 8. All copper piping and fittings installed must be Pro Pressed with appropriate fittings. 9. No Hot work to be done unless a maintenance crew is onsite with safety notified and a fire extinguisher on hand. 10.Installation of all required electrical wiring to be completed by a licensed electrician and inspected by a third-party electrician to meet all current codes. 11.Installation of all condensate piping and insulation. 12.Charging and testing of system as required. 13.Supply and install safety disconnect switch to be placed outdoors or inside depending on application 14.Split System to be wired to dedicated breakers with appropriate amperage. 15.1 year Warranty on all parts and labor. |
