Window Sill Flashing Replacement

This project is to correct defects in the existing sill flashing at the first and second floor windows throughout this building, the scope of work is to include the following: a. Coordinate proposed work with owner and provide appropriate temporary interior protection and/or barriers. Remove any existing interior finishes as needed to remove windows. b. Remove existing aluminum window units as identified within the documents as required to install new manufacturer’s extruded aluminum sill flashing. c. Manufacturer’s new aluminum sill extrusion to be fabricated to the proper length and aluminum end dams added, either welded or epoxied. d. Install new sill flashing in window opening, secure and seal. Reinstall existing window unit in rough opening and secure to match or exceed existing and consistent with manufacturer’s product approval requirements in force at the time of original construction. e. Repair and paint any disturbed interior finishes to match existing . f. All sealants shall be removed, cleaned, prepared and re-applied at windows removed and reinstalled only. Re-apply per documents and coordinate color per Owner and Architects field representative
