Description | The Work to be performed for the Strontia Springs PRV Station Rockfall Mitigation Project (the Project) consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to complete the following detailed work. The proposed Project is located at the existing Strontia Springs Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) Station, the external portal structure and exposed pipeline at Aurora Strontia Tunnel Number 1, and the approximately 400-foot long PRV Station Access Road. The Work provides for reducing hazards to people, equipment, and facilities due to falling rocks and debris from the rock slopes above and adjacent to the Access Road and PRV Station. The Project will include work in the areas of specialty rockfall construction (scaling loose rock material) and general civil construction. |
