D/B -Replace Fire Hydrant FH-15

The primary objective of this project is to install a new fire hydrant at the Mall Terrace on the Pentagon Reservation. This new hydrant will replace one that was removed previously as part of another contract. Additionally, the water line that supported the hydrant at its previous location must be removed and demolished back to the source to meet Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Building Code requirements. The primary area of work is located within the grassy area east of the old FH-15 location. Refer to SOW Attachment A16: “Project Aerial Location Plan and Area of Work Plan(s).” Contractor to recommend one or more locations for the new hydrant through the design process. The Government reserves the right to select the preferred final location. The price includes all necessary work to site the new hydrant at the Government’s selected location.
