| Description | The main repairs involve replacing the upper and lower mouth plates where holes and heavy deterioration has occurred. There is also a need for installation of several bridges at the mouth of the trap throughout the entire range to keep the steel from sagging (smiling). The steel plates are currently showing signs of sagging at the mouth of the trap which can/will restrict rounds from entering the deceleration chamber. Repairs are not required for the deceleration chamber or bullet collection system at the moment, but there is a plan to inspect the deceleration chamber to ensure no damage occurred when the rounds punched through the upper plate. |
