Description | Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include: the replacement and relocation of sewer mains along Pembroke Drive near the intersection of Pembroke Drive and Veterans Parkway and jack and bore operations utilizing pilot tube guided auger boring to install a 24" steel casing and a 12" restrained joint PVC carrier pipe. The project also includes the replacement and relocation of private property sewer laterals at the intersection of Chevy Chase St. and Lander St. and along S. Arlington Ave. Surface restoration includes but is not limited to temporary asphalt patching, grind and overlay, replacement of permanent pavement patching, portland cement concrete curb, sidewalk, driveways, and replacement of private property and City landscape affected by construction. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165, enacted by the Nevada Legislature by passage of Senate Bill No. 207, setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
