SE 29th Street from Kansas Avenue to Adam Street - 701039

Paving for a road / highway in Topeka, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for paving for a road / highway. The project is planned for design in 2024 with construction in 2026. Width restriction at rail road overpass is not being addressed with this project. New signals at 29th and Adams were installed in 2018, however, this project will install new signals at Fremont. Some base patching, curb replacement, and mill/overlay may be required. Note: SW 29 between Topeka and Burlingame is planned for design in 2023 with construction in 2026 As of July 12, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2032 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2025. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025 *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
