Additonal Description: This project is partially funded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation through the Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). Site Directions: 14th Avenue, Drexel Blvd to Milwaukee Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI Alternate Bid, Milwaukee Avenue to Rawson Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI The City of South Milwaukee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids without the consent of the City of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time for closing bids. All proposals must be submitted on a form provided for that purpose as issued within the Document Set, together with a certified check or a bid bond not less than five (5%) percent of the bid, payable to the City of South Milwaukee as a guarantee that, if the bid accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract and a performance bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the total proposal price within ten (10) working days after the award of the contract. Failure to execute such contract and performance bond shall be cause for forfeiture of the check or bid bond as liquidated damages.
