Water Tank Replacement This project is inclusive of all design and construction work in order to remove and dispose of an existing 125,000 GAL Potable Above-Ground (AG) water storage tank with a proposed 200,000 GAL Potable AG water storage tank. The contractor, within their price, shall include all engineering, permitting, and construction cost to: 1. Design an area adjacent to the existing 125,000 GAL AG tank to place a new concrete foundation, install a new 200,000 GAL Potable AG tank, and install any underground utilities or above ground appurtenances in order to construct and connect the proposed water tank to the existing infrastructure to convey potable water. A. This shall include but not be limited to the following: i. Geotechnical borings and testing to ensure stability of land ii. Design and construction of retaining walls or other slope stability to install the proposed AG tank iii. Engineering/Permitting iv. Remediation or improvements to existing access road 2. Furnish and installation of proposed 200,000 Potable AG storage tank, proposed piping to connect the proposed AG tank to existing piping, and any other required items to complete the connection of the proposed AG tank to the existing infrastructure to provide a complete and functioning system. 3. Remove and dispose of existing 125,000 GAL AG tank. Existing concrete foundation can remain in place.
