Boardman Road Library Wastewater Line Rerouting and Site Work

The work includes the following: Mobilization. General Provisions. Insurances. Dig Safely New York Clearances. Supplement Dig Safely New York clearances with additional methods to locate and mark out utilities including exploratory excavations and professional utility locating services. Confirmation of existing conditions. Support and protect existing facilities and utilities. Provide survey layout. Strip topsoil throughout entire work limits and stockpile in designated area. Excess material shall be transported offsite to a facility chosen by the Contactor. Provide a price per cubic yard for removal and disposal of trench rock if encountered. Sawcut and replace pavement at road crossing as specified in the Construction Drawings. Trench for wastewater line installation and provide bedding material and backfill as specified in Construction Drawings. Provide OSHA-compliant shoring for open trenches. Provide and install site wastewater structures and pipes as shown on the Construction Drawings and Documents. Perform all testing on sanitary installations (interior and exterior). Arrange for all inspections. Replace topsoil to existing grade in all disturbed areas. Seed and mulch topsoiled areas for permanent vegetative coverage. Water trenches until 80% grass coverage. Provide as-built survey of said improvements, including utilities. Saw cut and trench existing building slab where required for installation of new sanitary line. Core-drill existing foundation wall for penetration of new sanitary line. Cut floor for installation of new sanitary lines and establish connections for water closets and urial; and cut and cap sanitary connections to existing water closets and urinals as depicted on Construction Drawings. Install new sanitary and vent piping. Backfill new sanitary piping. Restore building slab and floors. This work will be awarded as one (1) single contract. Work shall be substantially completed on or before December 31, 2021.
