This announcement is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, 36C25522Q0207. This sources-sought notice is for preliminary planning purposes; therefore, no proposals are being requested or accepted at this time. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACTS SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. The St. Louis VAMC at the Jefferson Barracks campus is seeking to find potential sources that can complete the construction and installation of new signs as well as removing existing signs with metal bases. This includes that all of the installations shall be per product specifications. The contract awarded is anticipated to be a firm, fixed price. The type of solicitation that will be issued, depends upon the responses to this notice. Issuance of a solicitation will be dependent upon the number of responses, information received, and subsequent market analysis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requested. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Business Community. After review of the responses to this sources-sought announcement a synopsis and/or solicitation announcement may be published later. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 339950 - Sign Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is 500 employees. The location of the supported VISN 15 Medical Centers is: (1). St. Louis VA Medical Center Jefferson Barracks Division 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive St. Louis, MO 63125-4199 The contractor will be responsible for the construction and installation of all signage that must meet technical specifications as required in the SOW. Please provide a capability statement addressing your organization's ability to perform the requested services. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.
