A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Scope of Work for the Plumbing and Fire Protection Construction Package shall include all necessary services, Work, labor, materials, supervision, tools, supplies, equipment, insurance, and applicable taxes necessary to complete Plumbing and Fire Protection Construction Package as shown in the Contract Documents for the above referenced Project. The Scope of Work for the Plumbing and Fire Protection Construction Package is further specified in the Agreement, the Scope of Work, the Plans and Specifications, and other documents that will be uploaded to TUebid as part of the solicitation. Temple University ("Temple") is seeking qualified contractors to bid on work for the Plumbing and Fire Protection Construction Package for the Samuel L. Paley Hall Renovations at Temple University, located at 1210 Polett Walk, Philadelphia, PA, 19122. The Samuel L. Paley Hall Renovation Project ("Project") will modernize Samuel L. Paley Hall as the new home for Temple's College of Public Health ("CPH"). The Project will locate CPH in the heart of Temple's main campus and bring new life to the former library building. The Project involves the partial demolition, complete renovation and re-purposing of the existing three-story building. The Scope of Work includes, without limitation, demolition of the facade, removal of the mechanical penthouse and roof structure, complete interior renovations, infrastructure upgrades, expansion of the building's footprint including a five-story addition, a fourth floor and partial fifth floor overbuild, and transformation of the building's facade. The total gross square footage of the building will be approximately 310,000 square feet. The Project is seeking LEEDv4 Silver certification and WELLv2 Silver certification. This Project is subject to a Delegation Agreement between Temple, the Pennsylvania Department of General Services and the Governor's Office of the Budget. This Project will be a multi-prime project delivered pursuant to a multi-prime contract delivery structure. The Prime Contractors will include: General Construction, Mechanical-HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection, Low-Voltage-AV/IT/TelCo, Early Demolition, and each other contractor engaged directly by Temple to perform construction or supply machinery, materials, equipment or labor for construction of the Project and which are identified by Temple as being a Prime Contractor for the Project. *Addendum 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 have been released. *1.) The owner has provided a Bid Extension. 2.) Attached is updated answers to RFIs as of 1/05/23. Please review and adjust your proposals accordingly. 3.) Please take notice to the previously sent attached bid form. We ask that you break out your proposal accordingly. a.) Provide Base Bid 1 and break out per schedule of vales b.) Provide Bond cost only for certain trade designated as critical work (See bid form). c.) Provide alternate price that affects your trade. d.) Provide break out cost for Mock Ups (that is included in your base bid). Check specifications if it's required for your specific trade. e.)
