Goose Creek Culverts Replacement Project

Cascade Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group, d.b.a. Cascade Fisheries (CCFEG) This project involves the removal of two undersized culverts and replacement with aluminum 3-sided culverts with rebuilt stream channel. Work includes, but is not limited, to mobilization, clearing and grubbing, structure excavation, disposal of existing culvert, installation of concrete foundations, procurement and installation of culvert structures, installation of stream bed material, embankment construction, and installation of headwalls and wingwalls. It also includes construction of temporary access road, removal of temporary access road after completion of road construction and restoration of stream. The Goose Creek Culverts Replacement Project is located on the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest in Chelan County, Washington, To access the project site from Wenatchee River Ranger Station (600 Shelbourne St, Leavenworth, WA 98826), turn right onto US-2 W/US HWY2 and continue for 15.3 mi. Turn right onto WA-207 N continue for 4.3 mi, Take slight right onto Chiwawa Loop Road continue for 1,3 mi. turn left onto Chiwawa River Road continue for 3.2 mi.
