1 EXISTING DOOR, FRAME AND ANY/ALL HARDWARE OR ACCESSORIES SHALL BE REMOVED IN ITS ENTIRETY. WHERE OCCURS, REMOVE ALL SECURITY CONTACTS, DEVICES FROM EXISTING DOOR AND FRAME AND SAVE FOR REINSTALLATIONS. PATCH AND PREPARE INSIDE SURFACES OF EXISTING MASONRY OPENINGS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MASONRY, GLAZED TILE AND STEEL LINTELS FOR FINISH AS SCHEDULED. WHERE STEEL LINTELS ARE EXPOSED, CLEAN, PAINT AND RE-SEAL JOINTS; PAINT AS SCHEDULED. PREPARE EXISTING OPENING AND EXISTING STEEL LINTEL(S) FOR INSTALLATION OF NEW DOOR, FRAME AND HARDWARE. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY IN FIELD ALL DOOR AND HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT REMOVE ANY COMPONENTS OF DOOR OR HARDWARE UNTIL ALL COMPONENTS OF NEW ASSEMBLY ARE PHYSICALLY ON SITE, INCLUDING CORES AND SECURITY GRILLES. 2 EXISTING EXTERIOR WINDOW, FRAME & SECURITY GRILLE SHALL BE REMOVED IN ITS ENTIRETY. PATCH AND PREPARE INSIDE SURFACES OF EXISTING MASONRY OPENINGS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: MASONRY, PLASTER, MARBLE AND STEEL LINTELS FOR NEW FINISH. PREPARE EXISTING OPENING AND EXISTING STEEL LINTELS FOR INSTALLATION OF NEW WINDOW FRAME AND GLAZING ASSEMBLY. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY IN FIELD ALL HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT REMOVE ANY COMPONENTS OF THE WINDOW UNTIL ALL COMPONENTS OF NEW ASSEMBLY ARE PHYSICALLY ON SITE, INCLUDING SECURITY GRILLES. 3 EXISTING GATE AND ASSOCIATED BRACKETING AND HARDWARE SHALL BE REMOVED IN ITS ENTIRETY. PATCH AND PREPARE INSIDE SURFACES OF EXISTING MASONRY OPENINGS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MASONRY, GLAZED TILE AND STEEL LINTELS FOR FINISH AS SCHEDULED. PREPARE EXISTING OPENING FOR NEW DOOR AND FRAME. 4 EXISTING DOOR AND FRAME ASSEMBLY TO REMAIN. REMOVE ANY/ALL OBSOLETE EQUIPMENT AND FASTENERS AND PATCH ANY PENETRATIONS (BOTH SIDES). DOOR AND FRAME SHALL BE STRIPPED, SANDED AND STAINED (BOTH SIDES). ANY/ALL PENETRATIONS IN EXISTING DOOR, INCLUDING OLD HARDWARE PENETRATIONS, SHALL BE PATCHED WITH SAME MATERIAL AS DOOR, SANDED AND STAINED. ALL HARDWARE SHALL BE REMOVED IN ITS ENTIRETY, INCLUDING SECURITY GRILL ASSEMBLIES (WHERE OCCURS) AND REPLACED WITH NEW AS SCHEDULED. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY IN FIELD ALL DOOR AND HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT REMOVE ANY COMPONENTS OF DOOR OR HARDWARE UNTIL ALL COMPONENTS OF NEW ASSEMBLY ARE PHYSICALLY ON SITE, INCLUDING CORES. 5 EXISTING MARBLE BASE, WAINSCOT, FLOORING AND TRIM TO REMAIN. REMOVE EXISTING STAIN AND DISCOLORATION ON ALL MARBLE SURFACES TO "LIKE NEW" CONDITION AND SEAL WITH HIGH-GLOSS FINISH SEALER PER MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS. 6 REMOVE AND PROPERLY DISPOSE OF EXISTING EXTERIOR WALL MOUNTED LIGHT. PATCH AND PREPARE FOR NEW EXTERIOR LIGHT. 7 EXISTING HARD CEILING SHALL BE SCRAPED OF EXISTING FINISH. INFILL ANY PENETRATIONS OR CRACKING AND PREPARE ALL CEILINGS, BEAMS, EXPOSED PIPING AND CONDUIT AND ASSOCIATED ACCESSORIES AND FASTENERS TO RECEIVE NEW FINISH AS SCHEDULED. REMOVE ALL UNUSED CONDUIT, WIRING, FASTENERS AND ASSOCIATED MATERIALS IN THEIR ENTIRETY. REMOVE EXISTING CEILING MOUNTED FIXTURES AND REINSTALL AFTER WORK IS COMPLETE. LENSES OF CEILING MOUNTED LIGHT FIXTURES SHALL BE CLEANED PRIOR TO REINSTALLATION. 8 SAW CUT AND REMOVE PORTION OF CONCRETE FLOOR SLAB. PREPARE FOR NEW WORK. SEE PLAN AND DETAIL(S) FOR MORE INFORMATION AND DESCRIPTION OF NEW WORK. 9 REMOVE EXISTING STONE STEP / STOOL IN ITS ENTIRETY. PREPARE FOR NEW WORK. SEE PLAND
