Wage determination CA20200018 applies to this requirement NOTE #1 to Offerors: This solicitation is a Request for Proposal. Phase one is the qualifying stage of the solicitation, Phase Two consist of qualified candidates submitting technical and price proposals. NOTE #2 to Offerors: Addendum to block 11, Standard Form 1442: A separate Notice to Proceed will be issued for Design and construction. Design shall be completed prior to the start of construction. Design time is 161 Calendar Days. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Provide comprehensive, all necessary Design-Build (DB) services to upgrade and improve the Life Safety features for the Existing Fisher House 1 (FH1) at VA Palo Alto Division (PAD). The DB team shall reference the 20- Bedroom Fisher House Prototype to develop the appropriate Life Safety features. The complete design and construction services shall include but not limited to new 2-hour fire-rated stair enclosure, new fire-rated smoke/fire curtains, and new FireProof Self Closing (FPSC) doors.
