Thurmont Senior Center Parking Lot Expansion

Contractor shall provide all equipment and labor needed to excavate and pave Thurmont Senior Center parking lot expansion as described below as well as develop bid price: THURMONT SENIOR CENTER (see project sketch): 1. The Contractor shall create a parking lot expansion, consisting of 1,512 square feet, for the addition of 4 parking space and 3 ADA parking spaces. 2. The Contractor shall remove the existing asphalt curb as indicated on the project sketch. 3. The Contractor shall excavate 8 inches in the areas where needed. 4. The Contractor shall apply 4 inches of CR-6 stone and compact. 5. The Contractor shall apply 3 inches of compacted base pave (25mm). 6. The Contractor shall apply 1.5 inches of compacted surface pave (9.5mm). 7. The parking lot shall have positive drainage and shall not have puddling. Drainage shall go in the direction of the existing grade.
