Certified Check or Bank Draft drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation, payable to Athens Housing Authority, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety on the Bid Bond form contained in the Project Manual and in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Attention is called to the fact that salaries not less than the Davis-Bacon wage rates as published by the U.S. Department of Labor and as set forth in the specifications must be paid on this Project. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
