Description | Project scope includes but is not limited to: a) Contractor is responsible to provide a complete installation of the items included in this scope of work including all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment necessary to complete the Tier 1 Side Streets Water and Stormwater Improvements - Group A as awarded and associated work. b) Work generally consists of the installation of potable water, stormwater improvements and potentially wastewater infrastructure improvements as well as road and right-of-way restoration along Town owned streets as defined in Part D. c) Project Funding will be through the State Revolving Fund Program (SRF) and the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) which requires compliance with the supplemental conditions provided herein, such as American Iron and Steel (AIS) and Davis-Bacon, among others. The Contractor hereby agrees to provide any documentation requested by the Town's Grant Consultant. The Contractor also agrees that requests from the Town's Grant Consultant will be answered and documentation provided by the Contractor in a timely manner. d) Any delays associated with the Contractors procurement of permits, or with other construction related activities beyond the control of the Town will be non-compensable. e) Contractor acknowledges that the documents included with this Contract Agreement are complete and represent the design intent. As such, the lump sum pricing included with this Contract Agreement is firm and reflects the work required for a complete water and stormwater system installation and associated work in accordance with the intent of the Contract Documents and is not subject to change. f) The specific items included as part of this scope of work are listed for emphasis only and are not intended to limit the scope of work in any way. g) The Work of this contract is hereby further clarified and defined. In accordance with the nature of this contract, this clarification does not relieve the Contractor from providing all elements of a complete system that conforms to the requirements of the Contract Documents. It is the Contractor's responsibility, based on their expertise and knowledge of the work, to include all items, materials, and procedures necessary to complete the execution of the work that, although not shown, can be reasonably inferred to be a part of the work. h) Contractor is responsible to supply and install all work: i. In accordance with all applicable codes and standards. ii. In compliance with all notes, legends, and schedules as required of the Contract Documents. iii. In accordance with attached Technical Specifications. iv. In accordance with Manufacturer's recommendations. i) Contractor's price includes: i. All taxes associated with this scope. ii. Contractor acknowledges that if multiple mobilizations may be required, that Contractor has accounted for all costs in the lump sum price. iii. All salaried and field personnel required to complete the work. iv. All permits required for this work. v. Provide documentation required by SRF compliance. i.e. field interviews and certified payroll. j) Contractor is responsible for all activities required to complete the project as generally displayed and at no additional cost to the Town. k) Contractor is responsible for obtaining, maintaining and securing a site location for stored materials and if such location is within the Town limits, such storage shall be in accordance with the Town's rules and ordinances l) Contractor is responsible for ensuring that any and all permits necessary to complete the work have been obtained. This project requires the Contractor to be licensed and insured in the State of Florida. Recommendation of Award October 2022 The TOWN will require a Bid Bond and Public Construction Bond on this project. Contractor must procure bond within 10 days of notice of award. This project requires the Contractor to have the following license(s) to perform the specified scope of work: General Contractor The Town of Fort Myers Beach reserves the right, in its sole judgment in the best interest of the Town of Fort Myers Beach, to waive any informalities in any bids; to make award(s) including multiple awards; to waive any non-substantive, in Town's sole judgment, irregularity or technicality in bids received, and/or to reject any or all bids.
