| Description | Proposed projects must fall into one or more of the following categories listed below. Potential purposes of these actions must be: enhanced ground water recharge, reduction of erosion, enhanced wildlife habitat, and/or enhanced carbon sequestration. Please briefly explain in the narrative why these actions will achieve these purposes. Sealed Proposals for implementation of projects that enhance Hawaii's forests for climate resilience and support native ecosystem protection and management. Funding for the contract(s) will be allocated from NRCS RCPP AFA funds awarded to DOFAW for a 3 year project. DOFAW will execute a contract with each awardee detailing payment rates, scope of work, deliverables, monitoring, and recordkeeping requirements with each awardee. The term of the contract is three (3) years with an option to extend.
