Description

Bid Intent Not Available Question Acceptance Deadline 12/22/2022 06:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online No The City owns the real property addressed at 129 Coffman Street in Longmont, Colorado. The property is approximately 0.32 acres. There is an existing structure, utility services, trees and fencing on the property. The primary work to be performed under this contract includes demolition of the existing structure and site clearing as further described in the Contract Documents. The structure is considered structurally unsound due to a major fire. Friable and non-friable asbestos is present at the facility. An asbestos inspection report is included in the Project Manual. Minimum Qualifications: The City of Longmont is seeking qualified contractors with applicable experience comparable to the Scope of Work, as described above, for the 129 Coffman Street Building Demolition. Bidders must meet or exceed the following minimum qualification criteria in order to be considered for award: The Contractor and the Contractor's on-site representative who has immediate charge of the Project shall each have satisfactorily completed the same responsibilities on at least one (1) building demolition project within the last five (5) years. If the Contractor is submitting on Bid Alternate 1 - Open Air Demolition, the Contractor and the Contractor's on-site representative who has immediate charge of the Project shall each have satisfactorily completed the same responsibilities including open air asbestos abatement design and permit approval via a variance request from the CDPHE on at least one (1) open-air demolition building demolition project within the last five (5) years. Qualifying projects must have been performed principally by the contractor's own forces. Work performed by other contractors or subcontractors will not be considered as qualifying. The Contractor will be permitted to sublet a portion of the Contract, however, the Contractor's organization shall perform work amounting to at least fifty (50) percent or more of the total original contract amount.
