Description | For the construction of the Pine Bush Well Site Development and Transmission Main, Contract Nos. 1, 2A, 2B, 2C and 3. The Project consists of the following: Contract No. 1 - Well Site General Construction 1. Construction of a new well house including all site work, fences, gates, interconnecting piping, fittings, valves, exterior hydrants and hose connections to limits shown on the Contract Drawings. 2. Furnishing and installing all equipment, piping, and appurtenances in the treatment building. 3. Furnishing and installing all piping, materials, and appurtenances required for the septic system. 4. All site work for the septic system. 5. Furnishing and installing two (2) well pumps including all interconnecting piping, fittings, and hydrants (to limits shown on the Contract Drawings) and any necessary appurtenances required for complete installation. 6. Furnishing and installing two (2) concrete manholes with flow meters, valves, all interconnecting piping, bypass piping and appurtenances. 7. All site work, fences, and gates for each well site. Contract No. 1A - Well Site Electrical Construction 1. Furnishing and installing all power and controls, wiring, programming and any necessary appurtenances for complete electrical installation and control system integration for the well sites and well house. Contract No. 1B - Well Site Plumbing 1. Furnishing and installing all plumbing fixtures, appliances, equipment, piping, tubing and any necessary appurtenances for complete plumbing installation for the well house. Contract No. 1C - Well Site HVAC 1. Furnishing and installing all HVAC fixture, appliances, equipment, piping, tubing and any necessary appurtenances for complete HVAC installation for the well house. Contract No. 3 - Water Main General Construction 1. Furnishing and installing all open cut water mains as shown and specified in the contract documents. 2. Furnishing and installing all directionally drilled water mains as shown and specified in the contract documents. 3. Furnishing and installing the connection of the new transmission main to the existing Pine Bush water system at the intersection of NYS Route 52 and Boniface Drive, as shown on the contract drawings. 4. Furnishing and installing all hydrants, valves, fittings, and appurtenances required for all piping. Separate Bids will be received for the following schedules of Work: A. 1 - Well Site General Construction. B. 2A - Well Site Electrical Construction. C. 2B - Well Site Plumbing Construction. D. 2C - Well Site HVAC Construction. C. 3 - Water Main General Construction. Bidders, at their option, may submit a separate and independent Bid for any or all of the separate schedules of work contemplated under this Advertisement for which they are properly licensed to perform. All segments will be awarded separately, per the divisions of Work as described herein. Bid alternates may be included, as deemed in the Owner's best interest. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license as required by State statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that have been barred from competing on public works under General Municipal Law 5A-103-b. Purchase made by the Town of Crawford are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials.
