Harlem Heights Watershed Improvements

To improve flooding issues in the Harlem Heights Community the existing storm drainage system is being modified by increasing pipe size for numerous pipes in the community. Existing storm drain lines will be removed so that larger pipes can be put in their place. There are portions of the site where the drainage pattern/path is being modified with new upsized pipes and modifications to existing storm structures. There will be existing roadway demo along with existing utility relocation to allow for the storm drainage construction. Also, there will be a new large detention pond and outlet structure constructed for this project to provide increased stormwater detention for the area, which will be connected to the overall storm drainage network of the Community.
