Description | DESIGN/BUILD PROJECT: This project shall provide the construction of a new, approximately 3,800 square foot, with approximately 360 SF Secure office, single story, ABA compliant building for Quantum Information Technologies Laboratory activities at Topside Complex, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, Naval Base Point Loma. This building shall be certifiable as a secure building. The building is to be constructed of concrete masonry units as the primary structural component. The building must be able to support a future second story (for office use). The work includes but is not limited to: site preparation, site utilities, avoiding conflicts of existing of underground electrical and overhead telecommunications utilities, providing site improvements, electrical systems, fire water service lateral from utility, fire protection and life-safety features, and mechanical/plumbing systems. This building includes one Wet Lab, one Dry Lab, office with five workstations with dedicated conference area, office withtwo workstations, printer and two hot seats, conference room, Lab equipment Storage room, Electrical room, Telecom room, Lab experiment equipment Utility room, two restrooms and all other required service / accessory rooms / spaces. Refer to PART 6 for Conceptual Layout, Equipment requirements, and other references applicable for directions and guidance. Addendum #1-#10 have been issued as of 8-23-2022. |
