Description | As of April 8, 2023, this project is in the conceptual phase. An engineer has not been selected but not awarded. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to March 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Solicitation ID: NC-04 Route : STH 122N County : Iron County Limit : South Jct Cth B to West Mill Street Anticipated Construction Cost: $1,000,000-$1,999,999 The pavement needs treatment to extend its service life, improve drainage, and improve pedestrian and bicycle accommodations. Rehabilitation project of 0.3 miles of STH 122 from CTH B to west Mill St in the Town of Saxon, Iron County. The existing asphalt and base course will be removed and replaced with 4 inches HMA, 8 inches base course, and 16 inches select crushed (or breaker run). Change roadway cross section from rural to urban at select locations. Advertised Fixed Fee %: 7.25 The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate. Interviews will not be conducted. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
