Description

Design plans call for the construction of a two-story boathouse structure. The two-story structure calls for a large bay on the first floor to accommodate rowing shells and public bathrooms. The second floor, which will be accessed by an elevator, will have a training area with indoor rowing machines and weights, lockers, coaches' offices and a balcony. As of October 9, 2023, two architectural firms are being used; one to design the boathouse and one to design the park. A redesign is currently being done to preserve the historical aspect. A firm bidding and construction timeline has not been confirmed.
