Therapeutic Cell Renovations at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility and the Southern State Correctional Facility

This project consists of, but is not limited to: Renovations at Southern State Correctional Facility (SSCF) and Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility (CRCF) to create a therapeutic padded cell at each facility. a. The project at CRCF, 7 Farrell St. South Burlington, 05403, consists of creating a new 10'8" x 7'-4" CMU cell out of the Infirmary space. Renovation includes in filling an existing window, installation of a new steel door, installation of new HVAC, lighting, lighting controls, audio system as indicated on the drawings. Installation of Gold Medal Safety padding on all surfaces. b. The project at SSCF, 700 Charlestown Rd, Springfield 05156, consists of converting an existing room outside Alpha Unit into the therapeutic cell and installation of a new divider wall in the hallway. Renovations include installation of a new door, new ceiling, new floor drain. Salvage re-installation of the existing door into new hallway divider wall. Renovation includes, HVAC, lighting, audio system as indicated on the drawings. Installation of Gold Metal Padding on all surfaces.
