Description | Bidders shall include their Arkansas license number on the outside of their sealed bids. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened. This project includes the construction of a sanitary sewer main within the City of Hot Springs and the National Park. The project includes approximately 2,600 linear feet of 18-inch PVC sewer pipe, 3,200 linear feet of 15-inch PVC sewer pipe, 2,100 linear feet of 10 and 12-inch to 16-inch HDPE pipe burst, 1,000 linear feet of 16-inch HDPE carrier sewer pipe, 70 linear feet of 20-inch Steel Encasement for an aerial creek crossing, 105 linear feet of 20-inch Steel Encasement for Bridge Hanging, and 455 linear feet 24-inch Steel Encasement Pipe via jack and bore, 25 of 5 foot diameter manholes, and 15 of 4-foot diameter manholes. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from Hawkins-Weir Engineers. Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders and subsequent sub-contractors must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes and also possess a State of Arkansas Municipal Utility (MU) classification. The City of Hot Springs reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 90 days from the Bid opening date. The City of Hot Springs encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, as either a general contractor or subcontractor. |
