| Description | Disposal of municipal solid waste (MSW) at Florida permitted Class I landfills (Landfills). This MSW will originate from one of two solid waste transfer stations owned and operated by the County. The County is seeking to dispose of a defined quantity of MSW for a defined term. Disposal of approximately 9,000 tons of MSW per month (Defined Quantity) anticipated to be required for a three-month period, or approximately 420 tons of MSW per day (Monday through Friday) for a three-month period. Saturday and/or Sunday transport and disposal will be considered if available at selected landfills. The threemonth period may be increased by up to 30 calendar days to account for weather delays, traffic delays, and similar delays, as long as the total bid quantity is not exceeded. |
